PRINTEMPS MARSEILLE VALENTINE METAMORPHOSIS

After 7 months of renovation, Printemps Marseille Valentine completes its metamorphosis! A must-visit shopping destination in the La Valentine shopping center, the store is reorganizing its offering and spaces over nearly 6,600m2. The shopping experience is enriched by exclusive new concepts and some 80 new brands. The new architectural scheme is a nod to Marseille and Provence, and its realization is in line with the Printemps group's CSR approach.

Highlights include:

  • An enlarged men's department
  • Reinvented women's fashion concepts
  • An expanded footwear offering
  • Enhanced children's fashion
  • New nugget brands for Beauty, original brands for Home and beautiful decorative objects.

Today, Marseille's leading department store is going even more local, with an architectural project designed as a nod to the city of Marseille and Provence in general. The shopping circuit follows that of the Vélodrome. Customers will also find visual references to the Bonne Mère, the Vieux Port... Natural materials, warm colors: it smells of the South.

The Printemps group is committed to a responsible approach to reducing the environmental impact of its activities and guaranteeing the comfort of its customers and employees. A charter has been drawn up and applies to all construction operations: materials are chosen with this in mind, and waste is recycled. On this project, for example, the fabrics used for the ceiling kakemonos were recycled through two collaborations: with Enola Couture Création, a sewing association, which uses them to teach sewing, and with Gaëtan Marron, an artist from Marseilles, who uses them as a support for the creation of a fresco. Other examples of eco-responsible actions include the use of recycled materials to make new curtains for the fitting rooms, and the switch to LED lighting, which has a positive impact on the store's energy consumption.

It's starting all over again at Printemps La Valentine!
