CITADIUM COMES TO DOWNTOWN LILLE

As part of a commercial and urban project designed for millennials, Citadium will soon open its next store in Lille. The newest Citadium store is scheduled to open at 31, rue de Béthune in 2020.

Rue de Béthune in downtown Lille is poised to become a bustling hub of activity with the addition of an ecosystem designed for and by younger generations, complete with a climbing wall, food court, Wojo coworking space, OKKO  Hotel and Citadium. A leading name in streetwear, Citadium will feel right at home in the revitalization project, as it opens the new flagship spanning more than 1,140 square meters, strategically located just steps from the Grand Place.

Designed entirely on one level, the store is dedicated exclusively to Generation Z shoppers, who will enjoy the bright floorspace and brand-new architectural concept designed by Antonio Virga’s firm. As a centerpiece for the new flagship, a double-pane glass façade sets the tone for the store’s sleek and luminous design.

Of course, all the fundamental elements of the Citadium DNA will be on full display in this new space, which will feature the brand’s complete streetwear, sneaker and accessory lines, as well as American groceries, and assorted items and gadgets placed across the floor. A lively downtown nexus, Citadium will regularly feature street art, concerts, parties, contests, after-work cocktails and other events to liven up this iconic street and appeal to Lille’s young residents.

The store is set to open in fall 2020. Until then, be sure to connect with Citadium to follow all the latest news about its new visual identity, which will play a special role in the latest store’s concept.
